The church orchestra plays at all of our Parade Services and annual Carol Service. It is an informal group of very friendly players of all ages from about grade 3 upwards. There is just one rehearsal on the Sunday before each Parade Service at 11 am for one hour. We do need more string and wind players, so the Director of Music would be delighted to hear from anyone wanting to find out more. It would suit anyone wanting more playing experience in a small ensemble with a chance to do some solo playing; for example, trying out concert or exam pieces before the service. If you are interested or know anyone who might be, please come and see us after any Parade Service.
