St Mary with St Alban

At the very core of church life is our worship to God and prayers for those in need. These are enriched by many other activities which open up the church to all age groups.

The Sunday school is a good way of introducing Christianity to young children starting out on life's journey in both an informative and interesting way through bible stories and craftwork. Music is also an important part of the services, and we are blessed with a choir, orchestra and handbells group, all of which contribute to the life of the church. We are closely connected with the colour party youth groups who take part in our church parade services on several Sundays throughout the year, and who regularly use the Parish Hall for their gatherings.
